Welcome to THE BAT-FAMILY (aka BatFam), a pan-fandom PSL that is based off of the DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE, most particularly the Snyderverse. Set in the time where Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince are attempting to put together a league of heroes to fight off the oncoming threat, BatFam focuses on character plots, relationships, drama, and an impending future that all will want to avoid when it comes true.

- JESSE FADEN was born in Ordinary, Wisconsin. She has a younger brother named Dylan. An event in her hometown caused the Federal Bureau of Control to come in and cover the whole dimensional event up, claiming it to be an industrial accident. Jesse has spent her whole life (since age 11) looking for them and her missing brother Dylan.

- She has become the Director of the FBC (the youngest one ever), and is working on reforming the way it operates. While they st ill investigate spooky dimensional things, she is more open about making alliances and letting the world know what is going on. ESPECIALLY WITH the DC Universe now being aware of aliens thanks to Superman vs Zodd. The FBC remains out of public knowledge but can be known by the heroes/villain groups.

- She is involved in the FUTURE RESISTANCE and has a working relationship with Nightwing.

QUICK 101:
- Much of Laurel's life will be the same as it is on Failrrow Arrow, especially in the first few seasons. But in this AU Laurel is actually a metahuman. Laurel's powers activate for the first time when her younger sister, Sara, dies (in season 3). This time though, while holding Sara's body Laurel doesn't just cry - she screams. And her grief activates her sonic scream - her canary cry. Despite her newfound abilities no name brand Batman Oliver refuses to train her, thinking her powers are too dangerous.
- Laurel starts to train on her own and later ends up hospitalized because she can't control her power and loses a fight against the abusive boyfriend of someone in her alcoholics' anonymous group. Despite that and everyone telling her no, Laurel continues to train. eventually getting her own suit and adopting the name Black Canary.
- She eventually starts fighting alongside the rest of Oliver's team but never feels at home with them. she's the only one with abilities and there is no one who understands or can help her. Everyone else on the team constantly belittles her and tells her she isn't Sara and her abilities don't make her a hero.
- But Laurel starts to make a name for herself and soon everyone in the city is speaking about the Black Canary. She also starts to get attention from outside the city, more so than even Oliver.
- When the position of district attorney opens up following the death of Harvey Dent, Laurel decides to go for it. Realizing that as much as loves her city and wants to help protect it she can do more good somewhere else. And when she gets the position she leaves Starling City with no ties or regrets.
- A few months after she started to work in Gotham City the Black Canary makes her first appearance. And not long after that she meets Bruce Wayne and joins the Justice League.
- Other Notes: Sara is still dead. And Oliver sucks and Laurel is very much over him.

DICK GRAYSON

QUICK 101:
- 1993: born to John and Mary Grayson, Dick spent his childhood with his parents as The Flying Graysons, a trapeze act in Haly’s Circus
- 2005: at 12, his parents fall to their deaths, killed by Tony Zucco, who burned their ropes with acid to get back at Haly’s Circus, after which he’s adopted by Bruce Wayne
- 2007: bruce recognizes Dick’s grief, anger, loneliness, and resentment, and offers a position at his side, fighting crime as Robin to channel away the darkness. Dick becomes a part of the wayne family, making friends with the kids of other influential families (Jon, Dutch, Lulu) and likeminded vigilantes
- 2012: fearing his own vengeance and anger, Dick leaves Bruce, disillusioned with the vigilante life. he joins the detroit police department as a detective, yet reluctantly dons the Robin identity when the law proves inadequate to him. Dick establishes the Titans with Donna Troy.
- 2013: Bruce adopts a second Robin: Jason Todd. Events of Titans (TV) happens. Titans reband and Dick becomes Nightwing, continuing to work with alliances that he’s built, including with Jesse Faden.
- 2014: Jason gets Joker'd :c Dick's resentment for Bruce only grows.
- 2015: events of BvS take place; Dick watches from afar, torn from watching Bruce take on Superman
- 2017: Bruce reaches out to Dick and Dick goes to the Lake House to visit, determined to let go of the blame he's pushed onto Bruce and reunite with the rest of the adopted family.
- Oops, Jane falls from the sky.

MARGAERY TYRELL

— 2016: Returns to Minneapolis after being discharged from the military. Starts taking all sorts of odd jobs to make ends meet. Reunites with his old pal Dick Grayson (farcry) and begins working as an informant for him.
— 2017: Ned is reported to have committed suicide while awaiting the conclusion of his trial. Jon is afterwards contacted by Bruce Wayne (menarebrave) and offered a job at Wayne Enterprises. He eventually moves in to Bruce's lake house, joining Wanda Maximoff (control). JANE FALLS FROM THE SKY.
— 2018, future timeline only: Robb Stark (kustikane) is killed. Jon, distraught by his brother's death, goes full-on vigilante and joins the Titans, codename Ghost.
— 2019, future timeline only: Dick is killed by Superman. Jon reorganizes the fragmented Titans into the Night’s Watch, in Dick’s memory.
— 2020, future timeline only: The government mobilizes the replicant army it commissioned via the Westeros/Tyrell Group, however the replicants turn against their side they’re supposedly fighting for and follow Superman. A nuclear response is launched in turn and a full-scale war erupts on Earth. Batman is killed by Superman along the way, and Jon finds out that he is Bruce just before he dies.
— 2021, future timeline only: The Resistance is established by Jon, Wanda and Barry, and joined by the surviving members of the Night’s Watch. Jon saves K (wantasoul), a replicant, and convinces him to join the Resistance.
— 2022, future timeline only: Jon and K lead a mission to infiltrate one of the replicant labs to steal a unit Danni Quee (astrophysix) can program as their own. They succeed, but the Resistance base is later attacked and Jon is killed.

Sent with K (wantasoul) back in time in a last-ditch desperate attempt by the Resistance to salvage their future.
— 2017: FALLS FROM THE SKY, on the very shiny spinner Porsche belonging to Robb Stark (kustikane). Ends up being dragged to the family dinner at the Wayne lake house. Tries to reunite with K afterwards. Has never seen water or plants or animals before so SHE'S OOGLING EVERYTHING.

— 1997: Born in Alexandria, Egypt. The Ptolemies are an old money family in Alexandria, Egypt and are strong advocates of history and cultural preservation, and knowledge as a whole. They acquired the Great Library of Alexandria and modernized it, eventually transforming it into a private library and tech company and moving its headquarters to the renovated Lighthouse.
— 2007: After a string of lawsuits and exposés that thoroughly destroy the Ptolemies, Cleopatra commits suicide and the Lannisters take control of the Library. Selene is brought to the States and raised alongside Tywin's grandchildren. Her brothers all fall ill or mysteriously disappear.
— Along the way she meets Margaery (versigny) and they become BFFs.
— 2015: Made to marry Tyrion since she's already of legal age.
— 2016: Margaery marries Joffrey.
— 2017: Helps Margaery take over the Westeros/Tyrell Group by poisoning Joffrey, then chases the media away from Margaery's trail by coming out and revealing the abuse she's suffered while under the care of the Lannisters. After an equally grueling media circus coverage like the one during her mother's time, she manages to reclaim ownership of the Library, moving back to Alexandria to run it.
— future timeline: Ambiguously runs a division of Wallace under the cover of the Library, which creates and tests experimental replicant models. Magic-wielding replicants, anyone?

KARA DANVERS

— 1966: Born on Krypton.
— 1987: Put in a space ship after Kal-El and sent to Earth to be his protector. The planet explodes behind her and she gets knocked off course and into the phantom zone.
— 2016: Her ship is kicked out of the phantom zone and she lands at the edges of the Wayne estate. With her growing powers, Bruce sends her to the Kent farm and Martha because Martha knows how to help and Gotham is no place to learn how to use her powers. Dick is around at least enough to know about Kara and talk to her some before she's off to the farm.
— 2017: She texts Dick that she wants to come home now that she's in control of her powers.
— Future Timeline: At some point after Bruce and Dick's death, Clark kidnaps her, enraged that she's siding with Bruce, the Titans, and the resistance. Thinking that she should be sided with him, her blood, he tries to turn her against them. She's tortured as they try to turn her against the people she's come to know as family. She's not rescued before the timeline is reset.

— 1992: Born to Yalena and Khlyen Kin Rit, royalty from a small country that no one has ever heard of, Arkyn. The couple were visiting the States for diplomatic reasons when she was born, so she has duel citizenship. Her father was a fighter, despite being a King, and trained her in hand to hand combat, weapons, and guns proficiently enough to be an assassin growing up.
— 2007: She meets Dick Grayson at various functions while he settles into becoming part of the Wayne House.
— 2009: Her parents die in an assumed car accident, but she's also ousted from her position as Princess of Arkyn. Leaving her homeless, though she's able to keep the family fortune. She permanently moves to the states and hunts down the man who tampered with the car and killed her parents.
— 2010: She gets her bounty hunter license so she can put her skills to use, not that she needs the job. Being a trained assassin, she also does light vigilante work on the side. At some point she runs into Dick in his suite and helps him, patches him up and learns his identify.
— 2017: She's still working as a bounty hunter part time, still runs as a vigilante occasionally, and is always available when the one person she considers a friend calls needing help.

Lulu Villareal
