[ Bruce honestly isn't sure why he's even joining in all this. It isn't that he doesn't want to spend time with them. It isn't the fact that he dislikes them. It's... so normal. And normal is something that always seems to elude Bruce Wayne. He pushed Dick away, he failed to save Jason, and Alfred is constantly disappointed in him. That was even before the situation with Superman and Lex Luthor...

What the hell are you doing, Bruce?

He sighs and gets out of the car. A click and covering the car later, he is walking up to his own front door. Maybe he should start rebuilding Wayne Manor if they're always going to be over?

Bruce also figures he'll be the one that ends up cooking for everyone. Which is why he's brought things that he needs to cook. Sides, since everyone has already decided on the steak. He hangs up the coat and walks straight to the kitchen.

Hopefully he's beat them all there. ]

[ Overkill? But he was just trying to be nice... although there might be a little more to that because color stains his cheeks a little, but thankfully Ghost has bounded over to him so he's able to crouch down and duck his head and pretend to be occupied. ]

It's just ice cream. Make sure Dick doesn't find it, though. [ Finally confident that he has his embarrassment under control, he looks back up at her, though he's still giving his wolf a good head scratching. ] How's the steak going?

Oh, you're expecting the rest of the items back? ( Clearly she's teasing as she casually sneaks the bag off the counter while he's distracted by Ghost and slides them into a drawer like they were never there. )

I'm working on whatever animal ordered a well-done steak before I start with the other ones. ( Wanda is said animal. ) You still have some time if you want to change into something comfortable.

[ He makes a face at her for the magically disappearing bag of groceries, though it's a look that's teasing and amused more than anything. ] Shaving cream isn't yogurt, you know. You can't eat it.

[ He gives Ghost one last scratching before finally getting back to his feet. ]

Can I have mine well-done too, please? [ That makes two such animals, then. Totally not doing it on purpose, though. He just likes his steak well-done. ] Yeah... I'm gonna have to freshen up and change. There's no dress code, is there? [ As if he actually has an extensive wardrobe to choose outfits from. ]

Are you positive? I mean, have you actually tried eating it? ( Not that she would admit it, but she remembers a time when Pietro dared her to eat a handful of it when they were younger. It was an experience she would never forget. )

Of course, ( She takes note that he also wants his steak well-done. Thankful she isn't the only one. ) I think it's a black-tie event tonight.

[ Black-tie? He chuckles and starts to walk backwards towards the door, though he might be lingering just a little bit longer. ] You'll all have to do with black without the tie because it's all I have.

How do you not have a tie? Does Bruce know? I feel like he wouldn't allow that to happen.

( She's not actually judging him, just in shock. Wearing fancy clothes isn't Wanda's thing either, do Jon doesn't have to worry too much. )

[ He blinks, surprised. ] Nobody told me that was a requirement in this house... [ He'd not found any reason to wear one since returning from the service, so he hadn't bothered to procure any. ] I had several in high school but I'm sure Catelyn's already thrown them out along the rest of my stuff when I moved out.

[ He tucks his hands into the pockets of his jeans and rocks on his heels awkwardly. ] If I'll need it... will you help me pick one out sometime?

( Wanda noticeably frowns when Jon mentions Catelyn, she remembers meeting Ned Stark's wife some time ago. She seemed like a nice woman, but once she found out how she treated Jon Wanda's thoughts on the woman changed. )
